The sound from the component
connected to the VIDEO/SAT AUDIO
IN L/R jacks is distorted.

f “VIDEO” appears in the display
when you press VIDEO/SAT on the
unit, switch the display to “SAT” (see
“To switch between the “VIDEO” and
“SAT” function” (page 106)).
“THEATRE SYNC” function does not
work.
I
f distance between the TV and this
unit is too far, this function may not
work. Install the unit near the TV.
Speakers
Sound comes from one channel or
unbalanced left and right volume.

lace the speakers as symmetrically as
possible.
C
heck that the speakers are connected
securely and correctly.
e source being played back is
monaural.
Sound lacks bass.

heck that the speaker’s + and
terminals are connected correctly.
Disc Player
The disc does not eject and “LOCKED”
appears in the display.

onsult your nearest Sony dealer or
local authorized Sony service facility.
The disc tray does not close.
Load the disc correctly.
A
lways close the disc tray by pressing
OPEN/CLOSE on the unit. Do not
forcibly push the disc tray to close it as
this may cause a malfunction.
The system does not eject the disc.
Y
ou cannot eject the disc when
performing CD Synchro Recording or
USB TRANSFER. Press to cancel the
operation, then press OPEN/CLOSE
on the unit to eject the disc.

onsult your nearest Sony dealer.
Playback does not start.

heck whether a disc is loaded.
W
ipe the disc clean (page 124).
R
eload the disc.
L
oad the disc that this system can play
back (page 36).

oad the disc on the disc tray with the
label side facing up.
