3 Inserting the wireless transmitter/transceiver
You can transmit sound from the S-AIR main unit to an S-AIR product, such as a surround amplifier
or S-AIR receiver.
An S-AIR product is a component that is compatible with the S-AIR function.
To use the S-AIR function, you need to insert the wireless transmitter/transceiver into the subwoofer,
surround amplifier and S-AIR receiver.
For details of the S-AIR function, see “Using an S-AIR Product” (page 74).
Note
• When you insert the wireless transmitter/transceiver, make sure that the AC power cord (mains lead) is not
connected to a wall outlet (mains).
• Do not touch the terminals of the wireless transmitter/transceiver.
• Insert the wireless transmitter/transceiver with the S-AIR logo facing up.
• Insert the wireless transmitter/transceiver so that the V marks are aligned.
• Do not insert other than the wireless transceiver into the EZW-RT10 slot.
• Do not insert other than the wireless transmitter into the EZW-T100 slot.
To insert the wireless transmitter into the S-AIR main unit (subwoofer)
1 Remove the screws and detach the slot cover.
Note
• Remove the screws from the slot cover bearing the caution mark. Do not remove other screws.
• The slot cover is no longer necessary; however, keep it after detaching.
2 Insert the wireless transmitter.
