Adjustment tips for the operating menu
To automatically obtain an IP address (dynamic IP addressing):
̈ Change to the setting mode of the “IP-Addr” menu.
The first byte starts flashing.
̈ Press the jog dial 7 repeatedly until the arrow points to “Auto”.
̈ Press the save button 8.
̈ Switch the receiver off and on again (see page 19).
The new IP address becomes effective.
Displaying the network address (MAC address)
Via the “MAC” menu, you can display the Media Access Control (MAC)
address of the Ethernet interface. The MAC address is fixedly stored in
each receiver and cannot be changed.
̈ Change to the setting mode of the “MAC” menu.
The 12-digit MAC address is displayed.
Setting a receiver to standby mode
You can set a receiver to standby mode and mute it. To do so, proceed as
follows:
̈ Change to the setting mode of the “Standby” menu.
The icon and the green backlighting of the save button 8 flash.
̈ Press the save button 8.
The esc button 6 is backlit in red. The receiver is set to standby mode
and the display is switched off.
To end the standby mode:
̈ Press the jog dial 7 or the esc button 6.
The display is switched on.
