Setting the CD dubbing mode
You can set either "Album" or "Fadeout" CD
dubbing mode. In the Album CD dubbing mode,
the track being recorded will be discarded if the
end of MD is reached during recording. In the
Fadeout CD dubbing mode, however, a fadeout
effect will be applied to the last but incompletely
recorded track of MDs.
The CD dubbing mode setting is possible only
when the MD recorder is stopped.
When your MD-105X is configured into a
system with Onkyo Separate Collection series
components (A-905X and C-705X), recording
from the CD dubbing can be started simply
pressing the CD DUBBING button on the MD-
105X.
To perform CD dubbing, your CD player must
be connected through an optical cable to the
DIGTAL INPUT 1 terminal located on the rear
panel of the MD recorder. (for details, see the
section "System connections" of the A-905X
Instruction Manual.)
For the normal recording procedure, see
"Recording from an analog source" on
page25 or "Recording from a digital source"
on page28.
Note
CD-dubbing is not available with the A-905,
C-705 and C-707CH.
1 Load the CD in the CD player.
See the C-705X CD player instruction
manual for how to load CDs.
2 Load recordable MD in the MD105X.
