Nº500H Series Power Amplifier
1.VerifythatthemasterdeviceandtheNº500Hseriesamplierare
properly connected together with a router.
2.VerifythattheNº500Hseriesamplier’snetworksetupiscorrect.
Access to the internal Web page via a computer is required to
verify the network settings of the Nº500H series.
• Verifythatthenetworkcablesareproperlyconnectedbetween
the router, switch, or hub and the amplifier. If connecting to
a computer, verify that the computer network cable is in the
correct port.
• Verifytheageoftherouter,switch,orhub.Theremaybe
a communication issue with the Nº500H series and older
network devices. Power cycle the Nº500H series and use a
newer router, switch, or hub between the network and the
amplifier.
• Ifconnecteddirectlytothecomputer,makesureacrossover
cable is used.
• VerifythattherouterandcomputerhavevalidIPaddresses.
• Verifythattheproxyserverinthecomputer’snetworksetupis
disabled.Anactiveproxyservercaninterferewiththesoftware
upgrade procedure.
• Ifthewebbrowsercannotndthehostnameoftheamplier,
verify the following:
•EnsurethatthelocalDNSserverisproperlycongured.
We recommend configuring the local DNS Server to “DNS
Forwarding”mode.ToconguretheDNSServer,referto
the setup manual of the server.
•Ifusingasubdomain,enterthecompleteaddressintothe
browser.Forexample,http://NO500H.yourhome.network.com
•EntertheIPAddressoftheamplierintothebrowser.For
example,“http://192.168.50.5”
1. Power-cycle the Nº500H series, waiting at least 10 seconds
between powering the amplifier off and on.
2. Restore the default settings on the internal web page.
