Viewing the VIDEO INTRO of a Video CD
This function is controlled by the remote control unit.
1. Play the disc you want to see a digest of.
Note: With a video CD supporting PBC function, this function is not active if the disc is being
played back with PBC. To make it active, start playback by selecting a track using the MULTI
CONTROL stick of the unit or the 4 (prev) and ¢ (next) buttons on the Remote Control, or
locating a track using the number keys of the Remote control directly, not by pressing 3 (SELECT)
button.
2. Holding down the SHIFT button, press the 6 (VIDEO INTRO) button on the remote control just
after starting disc play. Then the Player starts to display in sequence the first five (5) seconds
and track numbers of all tracks on the disc.
3. To select a track during digest display, press the number key corresponding to the item
number on the television screen.
Playing a Multiplex Sound CD
You can select playback channel(s) of a CD or replace the vocal to yours.

1. Press the MPX/V.REPLACE/V.MASKING button until your desired mode appears on the display.
Channel modes are cycled as shown below.

Viewing the HIGHLIGHT of a Video CD
This function is controlled by the remote control unit.
1. Start playing the track you want to see the highlights of.
Note: With a video CD supporting PBC function, this function is not active if the disc is being
played back with PBC. To make it active, start playback by selecting a track using the MULTI
CONTROL stick of the unit or the 4 (prev) and ¢ (next) buttons on the Remote Control, or
locating a track using the number keys of the Remote control directly, not by pressing 3 (SELECT)
button.
2. After the track begins to play, holding down the SHIFT button, press the 9 (HIGHLIGHT) button
on the remote control.
