6.9 - Output 6-Band Parametric EQ
The DriveRack 4800 and 4820 offer an Output 6-Band Parametric EQ on each output channel. The
6-Band Parametric EQ provides Frequency, Gain and Q control for each of the 6 EQ bands.
EQ On/Off switch
This turns the Parametric EQ on and off.
Flat/Restore switch
These buttons either flatten all bands (Flat) or restore (Restore) all bands to their previous settings.
Show Composite button
Only available on the GUI, this button provides a composite view of the Parametric and Bandpass filtering
on the channel. If Window Recycling is turned on it is a convenient way to “jump” back and forth between
the Composite and filter views (Bandpass and Parametric) while making changes.
Filter Select switch
This allows selection of the Parametric EQ filter to be adjusted.
Filter On/Off switch
This turns the Selected (1-9) parametric EQ on and off.
Frequency (Fc) fader
This sets the frequency of the selected Parametric EQ and is adjustable between 20Hz to 20kHz.
Gain fader
This sets the amount of boost or cut of the selected Parametric EQ, and is adjustable between +/-15 dB.
Q fader
This sets the Q (or bandwidth) of the selected Parametric EQ and is adjustable between 0.13 to 16.0.
Type Bell and Shelf switch
Filter 1 and 6 can be switched between Bell and Shelf filters.
