PLAYING COMPACT DISCS
IMPORTANT: This CD player can play normal CDs plus CD Recordable (CD-R)
and CD Rewriteable (CD-RW) discs. However the playability of CD-R and CD-
RW discs may be affected by the type of software that was used in ‘ripping’ the
tracks from the original discs and ‘burning’ the tracks onto the blank media.
Playability may also be affected by the quality and condition of the blank media
you use for recording. 100% compatibility cannot be guaranteed. This is not an
indication of any problems with your player.
NOTE: You must remove the ‘dummy CD’ display card from the CD player
before loading your own CDs.
1.) Press the POWER/STANDBY button to turn the system ‘On’.
2.) Press the CD button on the front panel of the main unit or the FUNCTION
button on the remote control to select the CD function.
3.) Tilt the Thinovation™ Speaker Panel forward as far as it will go to expose the
CD compartment.
4.) Place a CD on the center spindle with the printed label side facing up. Press
down near the center hole of the CD to make sure it is properly seated on the
spindle.
