• When the power turns on, the power indicator lights green.
¢Turning the power off (to the standby mode):

The power indicator turns off.
NOTE:
•To turn off the power while a disc is playing, be sure to press 2
to stop playback before turning off the power.
• When in the standby mode, a very small amount of power is
consumed, even if all the indicators are turned off.
Loading discs

NOTE:
• Be sure to turn on the power when opening and closing the disc
tray.
• Do not push the disc tray in by hand when the power is off. Doing
so could damage it.
• Do not insert foreign objects into the disc tray. Doing so will
damage it.
Starting playback
Press 1/3.
• The “1” indicator lights and playback starts.
Once all the tracks recorded on the disc have been played, the
stop mode is set automatically.
[TIME/DISPLAY] can be used to switch the information displayed.
To stop playback
Press 2 during playback.
To pause playback
Press 1/3 during playback.
• The “3” indicator lights and the pause mode is set.
¢To resume playback:
Press 1/3.
When the DCD-F102 and receiver (DRA-F102/F102DAB) are
connected using system connections, the DCD-F102 can be
operated using the system remote control (RC-1034) unit included
with the receiver.
