Turning off the power
automatically
(Auto power on/off function)
If this function is on, if no signal is applied
to the selected input (selected by INPUT)
for more than 5 minutes, system power will
turn off automatically. Power will turn on
again when signal is applied to the selected
input.
Each type of mode, the AUTO POWER
indicator on the system is changed the

Adjusting the tone quality
Making the low-level sound (DOLBY
DRC*)
When you listen at low volume, the system
compresses the dynamic range and finely
adjusts for low-level sound. It is only
functional when a DVD disc for DRC (audio
DRC) is played. To use this function,
connect your computer with the USB cable
or the DVD component with the optical
digital cable and set the Dolby digital sound
to DOWNMIX PCM.
*Dolby DRC = Dolby Dynamic Range
Control
1 While pressing SHIFT, press S-MODE
repeatedly until DRC (DOLBY DRC)
appears in the display.
2 While pressing SHIFT, select STD
(STANDARD) using SELECT C/c.
Select OFF, to turn off DRC.
The default setting is OFF.
