Checking Battery Status
Tap the | Settings | Control Panel | Power | Status tab to view the current charge status of the
main battery. If the status is shown as Very Low, charge or replace the battery immediately. For
best results, it is recommended that the MX5X use external power whenever available. Charge the
main battery pack in the MX5X at the end of each work day.
The backup battery charge status is not displayed because it is constantly changing (and
constantly charging when the MX5X is connected to external power).
Tap the
| Settings | Control Panel | Power | Status tab to view main battery pack power level,
status, charge remaining, date installed and total time the battery pack has been used, and other
technical details.
Tap the
| Settings | Control Panel | Power | Battery tab to view technical information, serial
number of the main battery, and other technical details.
Battery Status LEDs
Main Battery Charging Left GREEN LED slow flashing.
Main Battery Fully Charged Left GREEN LED stops flashing; is solid ON.
Charge / battery fault Left GREEN LED has quick double flashes.
