OPERATION
2 Search for a channel by using one of the
SIRIUS Satellite Radio search modes.
• All channel search mode
Selects a channel from a list of all channels (see
page 29).
• Category search mode
Selects a channel by category (see page 29).
• Direct number access mode
Selects a channel directly by channel number (see
page 30).
• Preset search mode
Selects a channel from the preset channels (see
page 31).
You can register channels as presets and then easily
recall any preset channel by selecting its preset
number.

• You can display SIRIUS Satellite Radio information on the
front panel display (see page 34).
• If you tune in to a channel that you do not subscribe to, “CALL
888-539-SIRIUS TO SUBSCRIBE” scrolls across the front
panel display, and then “CALL SIRIUS” is displayed.
• You can register SIRIUS Satellite Radio channels as presets
(see page 30).
■ All channel search mode
1 Press TUNING/CH jj / ii on the front panel
(or TUN./CH H / I on the remote control)
repeatedly to search for a channel from a list
of all channels.

• You can search for a channel quickly by holding down
TUNING/CH jj / ii on the front panel (or TUN./CH H / I on
the remote control).
• You can skip to channels in the previous or next category by
pressing CATEGORY l / h on the front panel (or
CATEGORY l / h on the remote control).
■ Category search mode
1 Press CATEGORY l / h on the front panel
(or CATEGORY l / h on the remote control)
to select a channel category.
The CATEGORY indicator lights up in the front
panel display when selecting a category. When you
select a category, the first channel in the category is
selected.

You can search for a channel category quickly by pressing and
holding CATEGORY l / h on the front panel (or CATEGORY
l / h on the front panel).
If no operations are performed for 10 seconds, the search mode
returns to the all channel search mode.
