You can select analog audio signals for output to
the 2nd zone.
1 On the remote, press ?/1 while holding
down USE MODE.
2 Press v/V on the remote to select
“2ND”.
The remote switches to the 2nd zone mode.
For details on the supplied remote, refer to
the operating instructions supplied with the
remote.
3 Turn on the main receiver (this
receiver).
4 Press ?/1 on the remote.
5 Press one of the input buttons on the
remote to select the source signals you
want to output.
The analog audio signals are output. When
you select “SOURCE”, the signals of the
current input are output.
6 Turn on the amplifier in the 2nd zone
and adjust the volume.
Tips
Even when this receiver is turned off, the receiver in
the 2nd zone remains turned on. To turn off all
receivers, press ?/1 and AV ?/1 on the remote at
the same time (SYSTEM STANDBY).
Only signals from components connected to the
analog input jacks are output through the 2ND ZONE
OUT jacks. No signals are output from components
connected to only the digital input jacks.
When “SOURCE” is selected, the signals input to the
MULTI CH INPUT (1, 2) jacks are not output from
the 2ND ZONE OUT jacks even when MULTI CH
INPUT (1, 2) is selected. The analog audio signals of
the current function are output.
