• You cannot activate the Daily Timer and recording
timer at the same time.
• If you use the Daily Timer and the Sleep timer at
the same time, the Sleep Timer has priority.
• Do not operate the system from the time the system
turns on until the play starts (about 15 seconds
before the preset time).
• You cannot use the optional components connected
to AUDIO IN MD (VIDEO) jacks as the sound
source for Daily Timer.
Waking up to music
— Daily Timer
You can wake up to music at a preset time.
Make sure you have set the clock (see “Setting
the clock” on page 11).
1 Prepare the sound source you want to
play.
• DVD/VIDEO CD/CD: Load a disc. To
start from a specific track, make a
programme (see “Creating your own
program” on page 14).
• Tape: Load a tape.
• Radio: Tune in the preset radio station
(see “Listening to the radio” on
page 34).
2 Press VOLUME + or – (or VOL + or – on
the remote) to adjust the volume.
3 Press CLOCK/TIMER SET on the
remote to display “DAILY SET?”.
4 Press ENTER/YES on the remote.
“ON” appears and the hour indication
flashes.
5 Set the time to start playing.
Press + or – on the remote repeatedly to set
the hour, then press ENTER/YES on the
remote.
The minute indication flashes.
Press + or – on the remote repeatedly to set
the minute, then press ENTER/YES on the
remote.
6 Set the time to stop playing following
the same procedure as step 5.
Do this
1Press CLOCK/TIMER
SELECT on the remote.
2Press + or – on the remote
repeatedly until “DAILY
SELECT?” appears, then press
ENTER/YES on the remote.
Start over from step 1.
