(Group Play)
You can enjoy Continuous or Shuffle Play within a
group.
1 Select the desired play mode before you start
playing.
When you select
ALL DISCS
Continuous Play
1 DISC Continuous
Play
ALL DISCS Shuffle
Play
1 DISC Shuffle Play
2 Press one of the GROUP 1 – 8 buttons to select the
group and press ·.
Group Play starts from the first disc that
corresponds to the Group Play number found after
the disc you are currently playing. If the disc you
are currently playing is in the selected group,
Group Play starts from that disc.
To cancel Group Play
Press the GROUP 1 – 8 button which you have selected.
“GROUP OFF” appears in the display.
During Group Play, you can locate a desired disc
within a group by scanning or searching Disc Memos

Memo” on page 17.
Changing the Group Memo
1 Follow Steps 1 and 2 in “Labeling groups” on page
35 to select the Group Memo you want to change.
2 Turn the ≠ AMS ± dial to move the cursor to
the position you want to change.
When the cursor position is on the character, the
character flashes and the cursor position is on the
blank space, the cursor (
) appears in the
display.
To change characters
Turn the JOG dial until the desired character appears in
the display.
To add characters
Push the JOG dial. The new blank space appears next to
the selected character, then turn the JOG dial until the
desired character appears in the display.
To erase characters
Press CLEAR. The selected character disappears.
3 Repeat step 2 to change more characters.
4 Press YES to store the Group Memo.
Erasing the Group Memo
1 Follow Steps 1 and 2 in “Labeling groups” on page
35 to select the Group Memo you want to erase.
2 Press and hold CLEAR for few seconds.
3 Press YES.
The Group Memo disappears.
