I Howto Connectto Anynet
Using a Samsung Anynet-enabled TV, you can control the DVD HomeTheater System and any other
Samsung Anynet-enabled AV device. For detailed operation instructions and connection diagram, refer
to the user's manual of your Samsung Anynet-enabled TV.
What is Anynet?
The Anynet function allows you to use your Samsung TV's remote control and menu to control all AV devices.
However, this function is available only with 8amsung Anynet-enabled models.

1 Connect the Anynet input terminal on the back of this unit to your Samsung TV's Anynet
output terminal.
2 Connect the Anynet Out Terminal on the back of this unit to the Anynet input of Samsung
external AV devices,
3 Refer to the user's manual of your Anynet-enabled TV and activate the Anynet function.
* This function is available only with Samsung Anynet-enabted TVs.
If the Anynet input and output terminals are reversed, communication with the TV will fail and
you will not be able to use the Anynet function.
ConnectingtheFMandAMAntennas
If AM reception is poor, connect an
outdoor AM antenna(not supplied).
COAXIAL
AM Loop Antenna
(supplied)
FM Antenna (supplied) RADIO ANT
Snap the tabs on the loop into the
slots of the base to assemble the
AM loop antenna.
1. Connect the FM antenna supplied to the FM
75_ COAXIAL terminal.
2. Slowly move the antenna wire around until
you find a location where reception is good,
then fasten it to a wall or other rigid surface.
1. Connect the AM loop antenna supplied
to the AM and /17 terminals.
2. If reception is poor, connect an outdoor
single vinyl-covered wire to the AM
terminal. (Keep the AM loop antenna
connected).
Cooling Fan The coolingfansuppliescoolair to theunit to preventoverheating.
Please observe the following cautions for your safety.
Makesure the unit is well-ventilated Ifthe unit has poorventilation, thetemperature inside theunit could rise
andmay damage it
Donot obstructthe coolingfan or ventilationholes.(If the coolingfan or ventilationholes arecoveredwith a
newspaperor cloth,heat maybuild upinside the unit andfire may result)
