Using the Timer8
Using the wake up timer
You can use the timer as an alarm clock to wake up to
the sound of a disc loaded, the radio, or the optional
tape or MD deck. If you have an external component
operated by a separate timer, you can also set the source
function to that.
Once the timer is active, it will switch the system on
everyday at the set time.
Unlike an ordinary alarm clock, you need to set a system
switch off time as well as a switch on time.
You can only use the timer features if the clock is set.
1 Select the source that you want to wake
up to.
For a disc, press
DVD/CD; for the radio press TUNER
