Searching for folders and tracks
1 Use the FOLDER/GROUP (SHIFT and
4/¢) buttons to select a folder.
The folder number is shown in the display.
2 Use the number buttons or the 4/¢
buttons to select a track within the
current folder.
For numbers 1-9, press the corresponding number
button. For numbers 10-99, press
>10
, then enter the
number. For numbers 100 and over, press
>10
twice,
then enter the number.
For example, for track 46, press
>10
, 4, 6.
For track 120, press
>10
,

, 1, 2,
10/0
.
Playback jumps to the selected folder or track.
3 Press 6 to start playback of the se-
lected track.
Using random play
• Files can be mono or stereo. Use the random play
feature to play tracks on a disc in a random order.
Playback stops when all the tracks have played.
1 Press RANDOM (SHIFT and 6) to start
random play.
2 To cancel random play, press 7.
Random play is also canceled if the disc tray is opened,
you press
PROGRAM, or you use the number buttons to
jump to another track.
