Changing the Remote Controller’s ID
Analog Multich
Subwoofer Input Sensitivity
Some DVD players output the LFE channel from their
analog subwoofer output at 15 dB higher than normal.
With this setting, you can change the AV receiver’s sub-
woofer sensitivity to match your DVD player. Note that
this setting only affects signals connected to the AV
receiver’s DVD SUBWOOFER jack.
You can select 0dB (default), 5dB, 10dB, or 15dB.
If you find that your subwoofer is too loud, try the 10 dB
or 15 dB setting.
HDMI
Output Resolution
You can specify the output resolution for the HDMI
OUT and have the AV receiver upscale the picture reso-
lution as necessary to match the resolution supported by
your TV.
See the “Video Resolution Chart” on page 107 to see
how the AV receiver handles video input at different res-
olutions.
Through:
Select this to pass video through the AV
receiver at its original resolution and with no
scaling.
Auto:
Select this to have the AV receiver automati-
cally scale video at resolutions not supported
by your TV.
480p (480p/576p):
Select this for 480p or 576p output and video
scaling as necessary.
720p:
Select this for 720p output and video scaling as
necessary.
1080i:
Select this for 1080i output and video scaling
as necessary.
Zoom Mode
With the Zoom mode setting, you can choose whether
480i, 480p, 576i, and 576p input signals are resized
before they are output by the HDMI OUT. This setting
only applies when the HDMI Output Resolution setting
is set to 1080i or 720p.
Normal:
Select this to display the picture at its original
size.
Full:
Select this to resize the picture so that it fills the
entire screen.

While holding down the
[RECEIVER] REMOTE MODE but-
ton, press and hold down the
[SETUP] button until the Remote
indicator lights up (about 3 sec-
onds).

Use the number buttons to enter
ID 1, 2, or 3.
The Remote indicator flashes twice.
