Disc Playback

CD And Super Audio CD Playback
Press the POWER button on the front of the
unit to turn it on.
Notes
- When connecting an amplifier, you can reduce the impact on
the speakers by first turning on the unit, then the amplifier.
- To turn off the unit, press the POWER button again.
If an amplifier is connected, first turn off the amplifier, then the
unit.
- If there is already a disc in the unit, playback will begin.
Press the to open the disc tray.
Place discs in the tray printed-side up.
When using an 8-cm (3") CD, place it in the
hollow inside the tray.
Press the button.
The tray closes, and playback begins.
Digital Playback and Recording
Press the DIGITAL OUT button to turn on digital
audio output.
When the button is pressed, the function is on if the
indicator next to it illuminates.
Digital audio output is turned off by default.
Notes
- The mode cannot be switched during playback.
- When DIGITAL OUT is on, Super Audio CDs will also be
output digitally, but they will not be recorded digitally. Super
Audio CD audio will be converted to 44.1 kHz PCM/16 bit
before output.
