Dolby 3 Stereo
Dolby 3 Stereo is avaiJable for systems that do not have surround speakers.
When in the Dolby 3 Stereo mode the surround nformatioe is redirected to
the front left and right speakers This mode is designed for use with Dolby
Surround program sources, but can aJso improve sound field unity for
programs that are not Dolby Surround encoded. Da!og positron ng and sound
image definition, however, may not be as accurate when used with programs
that are not Dolby Surround er_coded

DSP mode
The DSP mode lets you add the atmosphere of an arena, jazz club or stadium
from a PCM er analog nput source * These modes are particularly effectwe
when used with stereo program sources, like CD, relay sion, and FM radio.
You might enjoy trying the STADIUM or ARENA mode the next time you
watch a concert or sporting event!
The WALL parameter Iets you adjust the "br ghtness" of the sonic environ
meet according to your preference,
The RQQM SIZE parameter lets you adjust the size of the sonc enwronment
according to your preference,
The EFFECT level lets you adjust the "presence" of the somc e_wronment
according tO your preference
* The DSP mode wil produce a stereo-like surround effect from monaural
sources, but there will be some reduction in the presence of the arena, jazz
cub, or stadium (etc.}.
