Entering broadcast station names

Call up (select) the preset station.
Follow the steps in "Receiving a preset station" to call up
stored stations with no PS display, MW stations and LW sta-
tions.

Select the Entry mode.
Press the 0/CHARA. key

Enter the characters.
1 Select the characters and symbols using
the TUNING/MULTI CONTROL knob.

2 Press the 0/CHARA. key to confirm the
characters. The cursor will move to allow
the next entry.

Enter up to 8 characters.
÷ To correct the characters, before pressing the MEMORY key, press
the 0/CHARA. key several times to make the character that needs
correcting flash, then re-enter the character.
÷ If only spaces are entered, a station name will not be stored.
÷ To delete all entered characters, press the +10/CLEAR key in the
entry mode.
÷ If you press the DISPLAY key after entering the name of the broadcast
station, the entered station name and frequency will be displayed in
turn. (if none has been entered "NO TITLE" will appear).
