Using Sleep Timer
With the sleep timer, you can fall asleep to music.
You can set the sleep timer using the remote control when the
unit is turned on.
How the sleep timer actually works
The unit automatically turns off after the specified time
length passes.
1 Press and hold DISPLAY
until “SLEEP OFF” appears
on the display.
2 Press DISPLAY repeatedly to select the
desired time length.
The SLEEP indicator starts blinking.
Each time you press the button, the time length (in
minutes) changes as follows:
120 MIN
.....
10 MINSLEEP OFF
110 MIN
1 MIN
20 MIN
3 Wait for a few seconds after specifying the
time length.
The SLEEP indicator lights up steadily on the display.
To check the time remaining until the shut-off time, press
and hold DISPLAY once so that the time remaining until the
shut-off time appears for several seconds.
To change the sleep-off time, repeat steps 1 to 3 above.
To cancel the sleep timer, repeat steps 1 to 3 above to
specify “SLEEP OFF.”
The SLEEP indicator goes off.
• The sleep timer is also canceled when you turn off the unit.
Setting both the timer-off and sleep-off times causes the unit
to enter standby mode when the earlier one of them is
reached.
