Improper
installation of
batteries or the use of damaged bat-
teries may cause batteries to overheat
and leak acid. Acid may cause severe
injury and/or property damage.
Failure to observe
the following
directions may result in loss of equip-
ment performance, reduced equipment
life, and/or damage to equipment:
• Clean unit thoroughly immediately
after using
• Do not operate when paint container
is empty
• Do not allow motor housing to
become immersed in water
• Remove batteries before storing unit
• Keep unit upright at all times
Set-Up
1. Insert 4 D-size batteries into motor
housing, with terminals pointing
as shown in Figure 1.
2. Fill canister with paint so that paint
is slightly below fill line (see Figure
2). This will allow extra room for
paint thinning, if necessary.

3. Place the motor housing on top of
the canister and secure with safety
clamps on either side of housing
(see Figure 3).
4. Attach one end of tubing to canis-
ter fitting.
