Note: DO NOT attach the supplied mounting strip until you have tested and activated the auto-
matic feature as explained below.
3. To test the sensor and activate the feature, you must have your TV turned on.
A. Press the
System
button on the LIFESTYLE
®
system remote. Then use the
arrows to move left, right, up, and down to do the following:
•Move right, to
Video
.
•From the
Video
options, select TV Power.
•Move right into the list of choices and up or down to select one of the two below:
±
Automatic (for TV models that do not use a European style SCART connector)
±
Euro Connector (for TV models that use a SCART connector)
•Press
Enter
.
B. As needed, have one person move the sensor across the rear area of the TV, as the
other person observes when TV Power Status changes from
TV not detected to TV
ON
.
C. In the System menu on the TV screen, move down to
TV Power, right to Manual, and
down to
Automatic.
That completes activation. Press
Exit
to leave the System menu whenever you are
finished with it.
