WHAT IS MP3?
MP3 refers to a new format of music files available for playback over the internet. Because of the popularity to
download music from MP3 websites onto ones home computer, APEX Digital is the first company to offer in a
Digital Home Theater System , the ability to play back CD-R discs recorded with MP3 audio files.
You can play back MP3 by different play mode,
such as:
“SINGLE”
“REP-ONE”
“FOLDER”
“FOLDER REP”
“DISC SCAN”
“DISC”
“DISC REP”
“RANDOM”
“SHUFFLE ON”
“PROGRAM”
1.You need a television to view the MP3 menu.Insert an MP3 CD,the unit will initialize the disc when the tray is
closed and the directory (folder) will be shown in an MP3 MENU on screen.
2.Press the DIRECTION buttons to highlight the folders or songs you want, then press ENTER.
3.Select play mode:
Press or to select and highlight the PLAY MODE.
Then press or each way to select play mode options(repeat,random,etc.)
4.Press or to highlight the MP3 file, then press ENTER to play. Press SKIP / during playback to
skip the tracks. If you need to return to the main directory(folder),press STOP.
5.You can press NUMBER buttons to select the item you want.
• The menu will refresh when you select a track using the buttons on the remote control.
• The left column is a list showing the name of the folder. The right column is a list showing the name of the song and the sub-
folder.
• sign in front of a file name indicates that this is a folder, not an MP3 file.
• “MP3” sign in front of a file name indicates that this is an MP3 file.
• During MP3 playback, you cannot access to “PLAY MODE” folder or songs.
• For “RANDOM” playback, you are allowed playback randomly in a folder only.
• Depending on the disc, you may experience a difference.
