• To clear a selected view area, do one of the following:
– On the front panel or remote control, press any of the arrow buttons to highlight a selected cell in the motion
detection area, and then press ENTER. The cell is deselected. Repeat this process until you have deselected all of the cells.
– If using the mouse, left-click and drag (diagonally down) an area, and then release the button. The area is selected and the cells
turn green.

7. Save the changes.
a. Do one of the following:
• On the front panel, press the MENU/ESC button or press the MENU/ESC button on the remote control until the
“Configuration data is changed. Save the new settings message?” dialog box is displayed.
• Using the mouse, click Exit. “The Configuration data is changed. Save the new settings?” dialog box is displayed.
b. On the front panel or remote control, press the left/right arrow buttons to highlight OK, and then press ENTER. Using the
mouse, click OK. The changes are saved and the Live View mode is displayed.
RELAY OUTPUTS
You can configure how the relay outputs are controlled: automatic or manual. The Relay Off setting applies globally for all relay outputs. The
Relay Off option does not control the actual alarm record function. Turning off the relay output does not terminate the alarm record mode.
• Automatic: Relay out is turned off when the post-alarm time expires. This setting is configured individually for each channel. For
information about configuring post-alarm time, refer to Schedule Menu Setup on page 37.
• Manual: Relay Output is turned off from the front panel, remote control, or GUI.
1. From the Setup widow, on the front panel or remote control, press the up/down arrows to highlight Output. Using the mouse, click
Output. The Output option is highlighted and the property setting is displayed.

2. To configure how the relay outputs respond when the alarm record mode stops, press ENTER on the front panel and remote control. Using
the mouse, click Channel. The Relay Off property is highlighted.
