In addition to controlling this unit, the remote control can operate other A/V components made by YAMAHA and other
manufacturers. To control other components, you must set up the remote control with the manufacturer codes.
Controlling this unit
The shaded areas below can be used to control this unit
when the AMP mode is selected. Press AMP to select the
AMP mode.

Controlling other component
The shaded areas below can be used to control other
components. Each button has a different function
depending on the selected components. Select the
component to be controlled by pressing an input selector
button or SELECT A/V. The name of the selected
component appears in the display window.
_/_B]/_c ]buttons and input
selector buttons switch the
control area for each component.
* _fCi buttons are to operate
the other components that are --
not connected to this unit.
Factory setting:

SELECT A/V switches control
to another component without
changing the input source on
this unit.
The display window will show
one of the following:
A, B, C, PHONO, V-AUX,
TUNER, MDCDR, CD,
TVCBL, VCR 1, VCR 2, DVD.

Component control area
You can control up to 12 different components. You can set up
manufacturer code and program other remote control functions for
each component (see page 52).
