12. SELECTING OPERATION METHOD
In the matrix mode, when the unit's power is first turned on after shipment from the factory, there is the case
where the operation method can be or cannot be selected. This depends on the 9000 Series amplifier model
and its module configuration. When the operation method selection is possible, proceed to the related settings
after selection.

When AC power is first fed to
the unit and the power switch
is first turned on after the unit
was shipped from the factory.
When the A-9060S, A-9120S, or A-
924SH without T-001T installed is
used:
Either the 1-channel output operation
or normal matrix operation can be
selected.
Unless otherwise specified:
The unit operates in the normal
matrix operation.
Any other operation methods
cannot be selected.
When the A-9060DH or A-9120DH with ZP-
001T but without T-001T installed is used:
Either the 2-channel output operation or
normal matrix operation can be selected.
Note
As the 2-channel operation method applies
to only the amplifier with high-impedance
output, press the Escape/Back key at the
operation method selection screen as
shown below when the amplifier model is A-
9120DL (low-impedance output version).
Note
Once the operation method is set, its selection screen does not appear until the settings are initialized.
To change the operation method, change the relevant setting in the Utility setting flow. (Refer to p. 55.)
When you have uploaded the operation mode setting data to the unit using the supplied 9000 Series
Programming Software, enter the setting mode by holding down the Utility key for 2 seconds or more, then
press the Memory key to exit there, and the set operation mode is confirmed.
