Drive Letter Allocation
Windows 98SE/Me automatically assigns a drive letter to the new drive during the
installation. In some cases, it may be convenient to re-assign drive letters. To do
so, follow these steps:
1. Select Start>Settings>Control Panel>System>Device Manager tab.
2. Click on the CD-ROM category.
See Figure 11 on page 14.
3. Select the TEAC drive item, click the Properties button, then click the
Settings tab on the Properties panel.
See Figure 12.
4. Under Reserved drive letter, specify the desired drive letter for both Start
drive letter
and End drive letter.
5. Click the OK button to confirm your selection and restart your system.
