To start playback from the menu of MP3 disc
In the stop mode, select the desired list mode.

• Each time this button is pressed, the list mode changes as
follows:
Folder list mode : It displays the folder/file structure as they
were recorded.
File list mode : It displays all the files on a disc, ignoring
the folders in which they belong.

Press the CURSOR
/ buttons to select the preferred folder or file, then press the ENTER button.

• When selecting the preferred file, playback starts from the
selected file.
• In the folder list mode, when selecting the preferred folder,
the file menu screen of the selected folder is displayed. In
this case, repeat this step to select the preferred file in its
file menu.
• Each time the FORWARD SKIP(
) or BACKWARD
SKIP(
) button is pressed, the next or previous
folder/file menu is skipped to.
Notes :
• Depending on the MP3 disc and the condition of recording, some of MP3 discs may not be played or may be played differently.
• The DVD Videos continues to rotate while the menu display appears. When no further selections are to be played, be sure to
press the STOP(
) button repeatedly to enter the stop mode and to clear the menu display.
• A TV screen may be burned out if a static picture is displayed for a long time in the stop or the pause mode, etc.. To prevent
this, set the Screen Saver to ON (refer to “When selecting the Screen Saver” on page 35). Then, the unit automatically
activates the screen saver function if a static picture, etc. is displayed for over 5 minutes.
Pressing any button will cancel the screen saver function and return to the previous display.
• When you press a button, if the corresponding operation is prohibited by the unit or the disc, appears on your TV screen.
To stop playback
• When playback of DVD Video is stopped, the unit
memorizes the point where the STOP(
) button was
pressed(RESUME function: DVD Video only).
(“R-STOP” is displayed on the unit’s display when this
function is activated.)
Press the PLAY/PAUSE(
) button again, and playback
will resume from that point. When the STOP(
) button is
pressed again, the RESUME function will be canceled and
it enters stop mode.(“STOP” is displayed.)
• In case that the Last Memory is set to ON, during playback of DVD Video, even when selection of the input source changes
from DVD input source or the unit is turned off, the resume function is activated, too.(Refer to “When selecting the Last
Memory” on page 36.)
• When about 20 minutes elapses in the stop mode, etc., the power is automatically turned off and it enters standby
mode.(Auto power-off function)
