# When tuner, television or AUX is selectedas a
source, you cannot select BMX.
# When selecting the FMtuner as the source,
you cannot switch toSLA.
# When selecting a sourceother than built-in
CD player, multi-CD player,DVD player/multi-DVD
player or iPod, youcannot select BMX.
# When selecting TA OFF in TA1, you cannot
switch to TA2.
# You canselect SW 2 and SW3 only when sub-
woofer output output isturned on in SW 1.
# Toreturn to the display of eachsource, press
BAND.

! If you do not operate theaudio function within
about 30 seconds, thedisplay is automatically
returned to the sourcedisplay.
! EQ 2 (16-band graphicequalizer), TA2 (time
alignment adjusting), NW1 (network adjust-
ment 1), NW 2 (networkadjustment 2), NW 3
(network adjustment 3) andNW 4 (network
adjustment 4) functions arenot canceled
automatically.
Switching left and right
channel
You can adjust following functions for left and
right channel independently or commonly.
3-way network mode
! Adjusting network (NW 1, NW 2, NW 3)
! Adjusting 16-band graphic equalizer (EQ 2)
Standard mode
! Adjusting subwoofer settings (SW 2)
! Adjusting low pass filter attenuation slope
(SW 3)
! Setting the high pass filter for front speakers
(F.HPF 1, F.HPF 2)
! Setting the high pass filter for rear speakers
(R.HPF 1, R.HPF 2)
! Adjusting 16-band graphic equalizer (EQ 2)
1 Use MULTI-CONTROL to select the
audio function described above.
2 Press MULTI-CONTROL and hold to
switch between left/right independent
mode and left/right common mode.
Each pressing and holding MULTI-CONTROL
selects left/right independent mode and left/
right common mode.
3 Press MULTI-CONTROL to select left
channel or right channel when left/right in-
dependent mode has been selected.
Each pressing MULTI-CONTROL selects left
channel and right channel.
4 Adjust these functions as desired.
