Press the button
> : SKIP/TUNING 2@ and/or 4$ or the but-
ton SKIP/TUNING 9 1( and/or 5^ until in the display e
the desired title is shown.
To playback the title press the button
> 4; PLAY/PAUSE u
and/or 5$.
Displaying file information
You can have the le name, name of the artist and the album
title belonging to the title shown in the display e.
Starting playback of an MP3 title.
>
During playback hold down the button FIND/ESP/
>
MONO/ST. 4^ and/or t for two seconds.
One after the other the display e shows the album name,
the title name and the artist.
To again access the title count and play time indicator hold
>
down again the button FIND/ESP/MONO/ST. 4^ and/or
t for two seconds.
Programming the MP3 title order
You can programme the order, in which the titles on an MP3
CD are played back. 64 program locations are available for
this purpose. This is only possible when the play function has
been stopped
Press the button MEM/C-ADJ
> 4@. In the display e the number
of the folder blinks. Underneath is shown the programme posi-
tion 1 (P-01) of the title, which should be the rst playback title
when playback begins. The MEMORY indicator lights up.
Select with the button
> : SKIP/TUNING 2@ and/or 4$ or
the button SKIP/TUNING 9 1( and/or 5^ the folder, in
which the desired le for the indicated programme position
is saved.
To save the setting press the button MEM/C-ADJ
> 4@ again.
In the display e the title indicator for programme position 1 now
blinks.
Select with the button
> : SKIP/TUNING 2@ and/or 4$ or
the button SKIP/TUNING 9 1( and/or 5^ the desired title
for the indicated programme position.
To save the setting press the button MEM/C-ADJ
> 4@ again.
To programme further titles repeat the previously described
>
steps.
The programming remains saved until you remove the MP3 CD
from the CD tray, switch to another programme source
or switch o the micro system.
Starting the programmed title list.
Once you have programmed all desired titles you can start
>
playback by pressing the 4; PLAY/PAUSE button u
and/or 5$.
When you press the STOP
> < button i and/or 4# you
will end the playback and the device exits the programme
mode. The MEMORY indicator goes out. The programme,
however, remains saved. You can activate it again by press-
ing the button MEM/C-ADJ 4@.
Checking programmed MP3 title order
Stop playback with the button STOP
> < i and/or 4#.
Press the button MEM/C-ADJ
> 4@. With each further press
the display e shows the next saved title.
At the end of the programme with the described steps you >
can programme in further titles.
Switching on the MP3 repeat function
With the repeat function you can repeat playback individual
MP3 titles or all the titles on an MP3 CD.
To repeat individual titles, before or during playback, press
>
the REPEAT 4% button.
The display e shows "REPEAT".
To repeat all the titles on an MP3 CD press the button
>
REPEAT 4% twice.
The display e shows "REPEAT ALL".
To repeat all titles in a folder on the MP3 CD press the
>
button REPEAT 4% three times.
The display e shows "ALBUM REPEAT".
To end repeat press the button REPEAT
> 4% until the notice
REPEAT is deleted.
MP3 title sampling
You can sample MP3 les on a disc for 10 seconds respec-
tively one after the other. For this proceed as follows:
Place the desired MP3 CD into the CD tray
> q.
Press the INTRO button
> 5&.
The title begins to play and in the display e appears the IN-
TRO notice. After 10 seconds respectively playback switches
to the next title.
If you want to end the sampling function press the INTRO
>
button 5& again.
Playback will then continue as normal.
Operating the cassette player/recorder
Inserting a cassette
Fold the protective ap
> 1) forward and down. Behind are
located the operation keys for the cassette player/recorder.
To open the cassette compartment
> o press the button
1@. The cassette compartment opens automatically.
Put in the cassette with the tape opening down. The tape
>
should be taut and without loops. Close the cassette com-
partment o by hand.
With the FUNCTION button
> 2$ or 4& select the cassette
recorder (TAPE).
Starting cassette playback
Press the cassette key
> 4 h.
Cassette playback stop/resume
During playback press the the cassette key
> <s.
To resume playback press the cassette key
> <s again.
Stop cassette playback
Press the cassette key
> d.
Winding the cassette forward and backward
Only use the wind function when the tape is stopped other-
wise the tape could be damaged.
Press the cassette key
> 8 f to wind the tape forward.
Press the cassette key
> 7 g to wind the tape backward.
