47 Device Regist: “Device Regist.”
Register a Bluetooth device (pairing). Refer to
<Registering Bluetooth device> (page 26).
48 Special Device Regist: “SPCL DVC Select”
Allow registration of a special device that cannot
be registered normally. Refer to <Registering
Special Bluetooth device> (page 26).
49 Device Delete: “Device Delete”
Cancel registration of the Bluetooth device. Refer
to <Deleting a Registered Bluetooth device>
(page 28).
50 PIN Code Edit: “PIN Code Edit”
Specify the PIN code required when registering
this unit using the Bluetooth device. Refer to
<Registering PIN Code> (page 27).
51 Setting the Time Interval for Automatic
Answer: “Auto Answer” ➤ ”OFF”, “0SEC” – “8SEC”
– “99SEC”
This function automatically answers (responds
to) a call after lapse of the preset time interval for
automatic answer.
“OFF” : Does not answer the phone call
automatically.
“0” : Automatically answers the phone call at once.
“1s” – “99s” : Automatically answers the phone call
after lapse of 1 – 99 seconds.
52 Speaker Select: “Bluetooth HF/Audio” ➤ “Front”,
”All”
You can specify output speakers for hands-free
voice communication and Bluetooth audio sound.
“Front” : Outputs sound from the front speakers.
“All” : Outputs sound from the front and rear
speakers.
53 Setting the Beep of the Incoming Call: “Call
Beep” ➤ “ON”, ”OFF”
You can output a beep from the speaker when a
call comes in.
“ON” : Beep is heard.
“OFF” : Beep is canceled.
54 BT F/W Update: “BT F/W Update”
Displays the firmware version and update the
firmware. Refer to <Displaying the Firmware
Version> (page 29).
55 MIC Gain: “MIC Gain” ➤ “-3” – ”0” – “+3”
Adjusts the sensitivity of the built-in microphone
for a telephone call. Adjust the voice of caller.
Setting to “+” increases the voice volume.

56 Noise Cancel: “NR Level” ➤ “-3” – ”0” – “+3”
Reduces the noises generated by surrounding
environment without changing the built-in
microphone volume. Adjust the voice of caller
when it is not clear. Setting to “+” increases the
noise reduction.

57 Echo Cancel Level: “Echo Cancel” ➤ “-2” – ”0”
– “+2”
Sets the echo cancellation level.

Determines whether the built-in or external
microphone is to be used when the receiver
incorporates a microphone.
Builtin: Use the built-in microphone.

• The Bluetooth Function setting items can be set while in
the Bluetooth mode without selecting the Function setting
mode.
1. Press the [
] button ( KDC-U7046BT KDC-U7046BTL )/
[FNC] button for at least 1 second (
KDC-U6046
KDC-U6046L ) to enter the Bluetooth mode.
2. Turn the Control knob to select “BT Setting”, and then
press the [ENTER] button.
3. Turn the Control knob to select desired item, and then
press the [ENTER] button.
4. Turn the Control knob to select value, and then press the
[ENTER] button.
