Receiving radio broadcasts
You can browse through all the stations or use the preset function to go immediately to a particular station.
IMPORTANT
When using the remote control, check to see if its remote control mode selector is set to the correct position:
To operate this unit, set it to “AUDIO/TV/VCR” (except when selecting the DBS tuner as the source).
Setting the AM tuner interval spacing
Some countries space AM stations 9 kHz apart, and other countries
use 10 kHz spacing. When shipped, the spacing is set to 10 kHz.
If your country uses 9 kHz spacing, you have to set the AM tuner
interval spacing to 9 kHz to receive an AM broadcast.
To select the 10 kHz interval
Press FM/AM on the remote control to turn on the AM indicator
on the display window. Next, on the center unit, hold down 4
and press 8. “AM-10 kHz” appears on the display window. Now
the 10 kHz interval is selected.
To select the 9 kHz interval
Press FM/AM on the remote control to turn on the AM indicator
on the display window. Next, on the center unit, hold down 4
and press 7. “AM-9 kHz” appears on the display window. Now the
9 kHz interval is selected.

TUNED indicator lights up on the display window.
When an FM stereo program is received, the STEREO in-
dicator also lights up.
