Changing the audio language or
sound [AUDIO]
Some DVD discs contain multiple audio tracks. With such discs,
you can choose which audio track to listen to during playback.
At the beginning of “multi-audio language” parts, appears on
the TV.
During playback
From the remote control only:

Press AUDIO.
The on-screen display appears on the TV.

3 cursors to select
the desired audio language or sound.
Each time you press the button, the audio language or sound
changes.
Example:

Press ENTER.
The Audio selection display disappears on the TV.
Notes:
When appears on the TV:
You cannot select the audio.
The selected language may abbreviated on the TV. See
“Appendix A: Table of languages and their abbreviations”
in this manual.
The Audio selection display will automatically disappear if
you do not change the audio for 10 seconds.
Changing the audio channel [AUDIO]
For in some karaoke Video CDs and SVCDs, one of the audio
channels includes a vocal while the other does not.
With such discs, you can choose to enjoy karaoke without the vo-
cal or with the vocal by selecting the audio channel to be played
back.
During playback
From the remote control only:

Press AUDIO.

Select the audio channel(s) to be played
back using AUDIO or the 2

Each time you press the button, the audio channel changes.

L:

from both the left and right speakers.
R:
You hear the R (Right) channel signal played
back from both the left and right speakers.
STEREO-1:
You hear normal stereo playback of Stereo-1.
STEREO-2:
You hear normal stereo playback of Stereo-2.
L-1:
You hear the L-1 (Left-1) channel signal played
back from both the left and right speakers.
