THROTTLE LEVER
The throttle lever is used to select the desired
engine speed and to stop the engine. To stop
engine,move t hethrottle le ver tothe STOP
position and hold until engine stops running.
PRIMER BULB
ThePRIMERBULBremovesairfromthecar-
buretor and fuel lines and fills them w ithfuel.
This allows you tostart theengine w ithfewer
pulls on the starter rope. Activate the p rimer
bulb by pressing it andallowing itto return to
its original form.
CHOKE LEVER
TheCHOKEhelps tosupplyfueltotheengine
to aid in cold starting. The RUN position is
used for full speed operation. The HALF
CHOKE position is used f or a brief initial
warm-up period.

S To reduce the risk of hearing loss
associated with sound level(s), hearing
protection is required.
S Operate power equipmentonly atreasonable
hours--not early inthe morning o r late atnight
when peo plemight bedisturbed. Complywith
times listed i n l ocal o rdinances. Usual r ecom-
mendations are 9:00 a.m. to 5 :00 p.m.,
Monday though Saturday.
S To reduce noise levels, operate power
blowers a t the lowest possible throttle
speed to do the job.
S To r educe noise levels, limit the number of
pieces of equipmentused at any onetime.
S Use rakes andbrooms toloosen debrisbe-
fore blowing.
S In dusty conditions, slightly dampen sur-
faces when water is available.
S Conserve water by using power blowers
instead of hoses for many lawn and garden
applications, including areas such as gutters,
screens, patios, grills, porches, and gardens.
S W atch out for children, pets, open windows,
or freshly washed cars. B low debris away
safely.
S Usethefullblowertubeextensionsotheair
stream can work close to the ground.
S After using blowers and other equipment,
CLEAN UP! Dispose of debris in trash re-
ceptacles.
