Section 12: Camera
Using the Camera
Using the camera module in your phone, you can take photos of people or events while on the move. Additionally,
you can send these photos to other people in a Picture Messaging message or set a wallpaper or picture ID image.
Your camera produces photos in JPEG format.
Note:
Do not take photos of people without their permission.
Do not take photos in places where cameras are not allowed.
Do not take photos in places where you may interfere with another person’s privacy.
Take and Send
1. From Idle mode, press
Menu
Media
Photos
Camera
and press to access camera mode.
– or –
Press the
Camera
key on the right side of the phone.
2. Press the
Left
soft key to configure the camera options. For details, see “Configuring Camera Options” on
page 100.
Tip:
You can use the keypad to quickly change the camera options. For more information, see
Camera Shortcuts
on page 101.
3. Adjust the image by aiming the camera at the subject and press the
Camera
key or to take
the photo.
4. After shooting, press
Options
for the following options:
Take another
: returns to Camera mode to take another picture.
Send to
: send this photo as a Picture Message.
Send via
: send this photo as a Message or to a Bluetooth enabled device.
Default destination
: Remove or Change the destination for new photos. Selections are: Recent recipients, Contacts, Online
album, New email, New number.
Print via Bluetooth
: send this photo to a Bluetooth enabled printer.
Delete
: delete this photo.
