Automatic menu display
While you are in Automatic Menu display mode, the buttons are defined as follows:

Button Description
Up or Down Identical to Manual Menu Navigation mode, with the following exception:
Before scrolling the display, the display mode is switched back to the Manual Menu
Navigation mode. The automatic (timed) display updates will stop. The front panel
display will show the scrolled (up or down) menu item.
Left, Center
or
Right
Switches the display mode back to the Manual Menu Navigation mode. The
automatic (timed) display updates will stop. The front panel display will continue to
show the current menu item.
Down Scrolls down through a set of items within a menu.
NOTE: While in this mode, the Tsymbol is displayed in the upper left character
position of the display to indicate that the Down button will scroll down to the next
item in the menu. (If the menu being displayed only contains a single item, scrolling
is not possible. This is indicated by the absence of the Tsymbol.)
Center or Right Selects the current menu item, and causes the corresponding sub-menu to
be
displayed.
NOTE: While in this mode, a X symbol is displayed in the upper right character
position of the display to indicate that selection is possible for this menu item. If no X
symbol appears in the display, this menu item is not selectable, and pressing the
Center (or Right) button has no effect for this menu item
Left Goes back to the previous menu. For example, pressing the Left button will undo the
action previously initiated by pressing the Center (or Right) button.
