andturnonthenoisesequencer.MeasurethevolumeusingadBSPLmeter(C-
weighted,slow)andwritedowntheresultsonachannel-by-channelbasis.(The
$30RadioShackdBSPLmeterissufcientforthismeasurement,althoughany
RTAwillalsomeasuredBSPL.)
Thenrepeattheprocesswiththewooferampsturnedoffandtheplanaramps
on.Subtracttheplanarnumberfromthewoofernumberandenteritinthecor-
respondingchannel’sdrop-downmenu.Thetablebelowmaybeusedtoorga-
nizeyourmeasurements.

ment,asmighthappenifyoursystemweredamagedinanthunderstorm.This
XMLlewouldbeloadedbythe“LoadCongFromFile”buttonontheBasic
SystemDescriptionpage.
Using identical amps Ifyouusethesameampliers(orampsthathaveidenticalinputsensitivities
andgain)forboththewooferandplanarsections,thentheonlydifferencethat
needstobeaccountedforisthedifferenceinsensitivityinthespeakersections
themselves.Thoseguresaresuppliedinthetablebelow.
