Index Screen
for images
Index Playback
You can view the files (still images, video clips
(੬ pg. 60), or sound effects (੬ pg. 55, 66)) stored in
memory six at a time. Use this mode when looking for a
file you wish to view or hear.

Perform steps 1 and 2 of “Normal Playback” on
pg. 29.

To display the Index Screen . . .
… for images, go to step 3.
… for video clips (੬ pg. 60), press SET/SELECT
once to engage the video clip mode. “E-CLIP”
appears. Then go to step 3.
… for sound effects (੬ pg. 55), press SET/SELECT
twice to engage the sound effect mode.
“D.SOUND” appears. Then go to step 3.

Press INDEX. The Index Screen appears.

Press + or – to move the green frame to the desired
file and press SET/SELECT. The file selected in the
Index Screen is displayed or played back.
•To start playback of the selected video clip, press
4/6. To stop playback midway, press 5.
•To start playback of the selected sound effect, press
D.SOUND.

Jump Playback
You can call up directly a file you want to play back by
specifying its index number.

During normal playback of images, press SET/
SELECT repeatedly to select the type of file you want
to play back.

Press FOCUS/BLANK. The Jump Screen appears.

Press + or – to enter the index number of the desired
file and press SET/SELECT.
•The file for the selected index number is displayed.
•To cancel the Jump Playback while the Jump
Screen is being displayed, press FOCUS/BLANK
again.
