< To listen to an external source connected to the AUX IN jack,
select AUX1 or AUX2.
< You can also select AUX1 or AUX2 by pressing the AUX button
on the remote control unit once or twice.

Play the source, and adjust the volume using the VOLUME
knob.
The volume is adjustable from MIN to MAX. You can hold down
the VOLUME – or + buttons on the remote control unit to reduce
or bring up the volume continuously.
< Press the STANDBY/ON button to put the unit in the standby
mode when it is not being used.
ECO Power Standby mode
When you press the STANDBY/ON button to put the unit in the
standby mode, “ECO POWER” is shown on the display first, then
the clock is shown in a few seconds before the unit turns off the
display to save the power consumption.
< In ECO Power Standby mode, the illumination of the STANDBY/
ON button lights orange.
To show the clock on the display during ECO Power Standby
mode, press the CLOCK button. The illumination of STANDBY/ON
button turns off.
< If no operation is done for a few minutes, the unit switches to
ECO Power Standby mode again.
This chapter describes the basic operation which is available in every
mode.
When you use the unit for the first time, set the clock and the setting
of the unit. (see previous page for “Setting the Clock” and page 33 for
“Settings”).

< You can also use the FUNCTION button (or the FM, DVD, USB or
AUX button on the remote control unit) to turn the unit on.

Press the FUNCTION button to select a source.
Each time the FUNCTION button is pressed, the source changes
as follows:
FM Radio
AUX1 Source
AUX2 Source
DISC Source
USB Source
The selected source is shown on the front panel display.
