Hooking Up the Components
Power Amplifier Hookups
Connect the rear, center, and front input jacks on your five
channel power amplifier (Sony TA-N9000ES etc.) to the
pre amplifier’s PRE OUT jacks. For details, see the
operating instructions supplied with your power
amplifier.
Connect a powered sub woofer to either of the PRE OUT
WOOFER jacks. The same signal is output from both PRE
OUT WOOFER jacks.
Required cords
Audio cords (3 cords are supplied)
When connecting a cord, be sure to match the color-coded pins to
the appropriate jacks on the components.
Monaural audio cords (not supplied)
For the PRE OUT CENTER and PRE OUT WOOFER jacks.

z When making woofer and center channel connections
You can use one set of pins (e.g., red) on the audio cord (not
supplied) to connect the CENTER jacks and the other set (e.g.,
white) to connect the WOOFER jacks.
