A SW: Lights up when sub woofer selection is
set to “YES” (page 18) and the audio signal is
output from the SUB WOOFER jacks.
B LFE: Lights up when the disc being played
back contains the LFE (Low Frequency
Effect) channel and the LFE channel signal is
actually being reproduced.
C SP.A/SP.B: Lights up in accordance with the
speaker system being used (A or B). Turns off
when speaker output is turned off or when
headphones are connected.
D MULTI CH IN 1 or 2: Lights up when
“MULTI 1 DIRECT” or “MULTI 2 DIRECT”
is selected.
E EQ: Lights up when the equalizer functions.
F D.RANGE: Lights up when dynamic range
compression is activated (page 36).
G ; DIGITAL EX:; DIGITAL” lights up
when the receiver is decoding signals recorded
in the Dolby Digital format.
; DIGITAL EX” lights up when the
receiver is decoding signals recorded in the
Dolby Digital EX format.
H DTS-ES 96/24: “DTS” lights up when DTS
signals are input. “DTS-ES” lights up when
DTS-ES signals are input. “DTS 96/24” lights
up when the receiver is decoding DTS 96 kHz/
24 bit signals.
Note
When playing a DTS format disc, be sure that you
have made digital connections and that INPUT
MODE is not set to “ANALOG FIXED”
(page 35).
I OPT: Lights up when the source signal is a
digital signal being input through the
OPTICAL terminal or when INPUT MODE is
set to “OPT FIXED” (page 35).
J COAX: Lights up when the source signal is a
digital signal being input through the
COAXIAL terminal or when INPUT MODE
is set to “COAX FIXED” (page 35).
K Tuner indicators: Lights up when using the
receiver to tune in radio stations, etc. See
pages 23–25 for tuner operations.
L D.ASSIGN: Lights up when the digital assign
function is used for the selected input.
M NEO:6: Lights up when DTS Neo:6 Cinema/
Music mode decoding is activated. However,
this indicator does not light up if both the
center and surround speakers are set to “NO”.
N ; PRO LOGIC II:; PRO LOGIC” lights
up when the receiver applies Pro Logic
processing to 2 channel signals in order to
output the center and surround channel
signals. “; PRO LOGIC II” lights up when
the Pro Logic II Movie/Music decoder is
activated. However, both indicators do not
light up if both the center and surround
speakers are set to “NO” and “A.F.D. AUTO”,
“PRO LOGIC”, “PLII MOVIE” or
“PLII MUSIC” is selected.
Note
Dolby Pro Logic and Dolby Pro Logic II
decoding do not function for DTS format signals.
O A.DIRECT: Lights up when you select
ANALOG DIRECT.
