Optional Components
Make a digital
recording from CD
to MD
Connect an optical cable.
Listen to the analog
sound of a
connected VCR
Connect the audio cords.
Press 5.1CH/VIDEO (MD)*
repeatedly until VIDEO
appears.
Listen to the analog
sound of the
connected MD deck
With the system turned off,
press 5.1CH/VIDEO (MD)*
while holding down ENTER.
This switches the VIDEO
function to MD. Once you
enable the MD function,
just press 5.1CH/VIDEO
(MD)*.
Then connect the audio cords.
Press 5.1CH/VIDEO (MD)*
repeatedly until MD
appears.
Make an analog
recording from MD
onto a tape
Connect the audio cords.
Press 5.1CH/VIDEO (MD)*
repeatedly until MD
appears.
* VIDEO (MD) for MHC-MG110 or on the remote
Editing operations while labeling
To Press
Cancel the operation [Esc]
Move the cursor [T] or [t]
Erase the character at the
cursor position
[Delete]
Erase the character
preceding the cursor
[Back Space]

buttons and controls on the unit or on the
remote.
As the keyboard substitutes
for the following functions

Hooking up the optional
A/V components
You can connect a digital or an analog
component to this system.
To the audio output jacks of an MD deck,
a VCR, etc.
