Waking up to Music (On/Off
Timer)
You can set the CD Receiver to turn on automatically
everyday at a time you specify. Make sure you have set
the clock before setting On/Off Timer. (See “Setting
the Clock” on page 6.)
1 Prepare the programme source you want.
When you want to listen to a radio broadcast, tune
in the station you want.
2 Turn VOLUME to adjust the volume.
3 Press SET repeatedly until the programme source
you want (“CD ON” or “TUNER ON”) appears in
the display.
The hour indication flashes.
4 Press TIMER +/– to set the hour, then press
ENTER.
The minute indication flashes.
5 Press TIMER +/– to set the minute, then press
ENTER.
”CD OFF” or “TUNER OFF” appears in the
display.
6 Set the time to stop playback following Steps 4 and
5.
“TIMER ON” lights up and the display shows the
start time and the stop time with the programme
source in turn, then returns to the original display.
7 Press POWER to turn off the CD Receiver.
To check the setting
Press TIMER twice. The display shows the start time and the
stop time with the programme source in turn.
To cancel On/Off Timer
Press TIMER. The timer indication disappears from the
display. If you press the TIMER button again, “TIMER ON”
appears and the On/Off Timer you have set is activated
again.

You can set the CD Receiver to turn off automatically at
a time you specify.
Press SLEEP on the remote while the power is on.
Each time you press the SLEEP button, the time
changes as follows.
SLEEP 90 SLEEP 60 SLEEP 30
OFF SLEEP 10 SLEEP 20
To cancel Sleep Timer
Press SLEEP on the remote repeatedly until “SLEEP”
disappears from the display.
You can check the remaining time before the CD
Receiver turns off
Press SLEEP on the remote. The remaining time appears
in the display.
