Playing the iPod
You can enjoy audio and video contents
stored in your iPod with this system.
See “Compatible iPod models with this
system” (page 128) for iPod models that
can be connected to this system.
You can select operating mode from the
following to operate your iPod connected
to this system.
iPod Display mode (page 67):
You can operate the iPod with buttons
on the connected iPod, in addition to
buttons on the unit and the remote.
In this mode, the iPod display can be
viewed on iPod itself.
Main Display mode (page 68):
You can view the iPod display on the
TV screen. In this mode, you cannot use
control buttons on the connected iPod.
Place an iPod into the iPod Dock on
the unit.
To use the system as a battery charger
You can use the system as a battery
charger for the iPod when the system
is on.
e charging begins when the iPod is
placed on the iPod Dock. e charging
status appears in the iPod display. For
details, see the user’s guide of your iPod.
To stop charging the iPod
Remove the iPod. Turning o the system
also stops charging the iPod.
