Tune in a station Follow the procedure described
with a weak signal in "Manual tuning preset"
(p_ge13).
Set another station St_rl over from step I. At_er
to tile existing step 3, press PRESET/_ (or
preset number _ or _ on the unit)
repeatedly to select the preset
number you want to store the
other station.
To change the AM tuning interval
(except for European, Russian,
Middle Eastern and Philippine
models)
The AM tuning interval is thctory-preset to
9 kltz (or 10 ktiz lbr some areas). To change the
AM tuning interval, tune in any AM station first,
then turn offthe system. While holding TUNER/
BAND on the unit, press I/Q) on the unit. When
you change the interval, all the AM preset
stations are erased. To reset the interval, repeat
the same procedure.
Note
You cannel change the AM tuning interval ill the
Power Saving Mode.
Tips
• Tile preset stamens are retained for about a day even
ifyou disconnect the power cord or if apower Pailurc
Occurs.
• TO improve the reception, adjust the supplied
antennas or connect anexternal antenna.
You can listen to a radio station either by
selecting a preset station, or by manually tuning
in the station.

1 Press TUNER/BAND repeatedly to
select "FM" or "AM".
2 Press PRESET -/+ (or I<l<l or _ on
the unit) repeatedly to select the
