About CD-Rs/CD-RWs
This CD player can play CD-Rs/CD-RWs
recorded in the ATRAC3plus/ATRAC3,
MP3 or CDDA* format, but playback
capability may vary depending on the quality
of the disc and the condition of the recording
device.
* CDDA is the abbreviation for Compact Disc
Digital Audio. It is a recording standard used for
the Audio CDs.
Notes on cassettes
Break off the cassette tab from side A or B
to prevent accidental recording. If you
want to reuse the tape for recording, cover
the broken tab with adhesive tape.
We do not recommend the use of tape
longer than 90 minutes. They are very thin
and tend to be stretched easily. This may
cause malfunction of the unit or sound
deterioration.
If you have any questions or problems
concerning your player, please consult your
nearest Sony dealer.
