Getting Started
HDMI is the abbreviated name for High-
Definition Multimedia Interface. It is an
interface which transmits video and audio
signals in digital format.
Before connecting cords, make sure to
disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead).
Note
Be sure to change the factory setting of the DVD
input button on the remote so that you can use the
button to control your DVD player. For details, see
“Changing button assignments” (page 61).
HDMI feature
A digital audio signals transmitted by HDMI can
be output from the speakers connected to the
receiver. This signal supports Dolby Digital, DTS
and linear PCM.
This receiver supports xvYCC transmission.
This receiver supports the Control for HDMI
function. For details, see “Control for HDMI”
(page 52).
